The OJ Microline UDG4-4999 is a touchscreen programmable thermostat built for electric radiant floor heating systems — pairing an intuitive 3.5" color touch interface with built-in Class A GFCI protection, dual sensing, and a full 7-day programming schedule in a single C-UL-us Listed unit. It works with LuxHeat floor heating cables and mats, and is compatible with most 120/240V electric radiant heating systems under tile, stone, laminate, concrete, wood, and carpet.
The OJ Microline floor heating thermostat features a new Install Wizard that walks you through setup directly on screen — eliminating the need to interpret a paper manual during installation. The built-in Adaptive function self-learns how long your floor takes to reach target temperature and adjusts the scheduled run time accordingly, saving energy without any manual intervention.

Yes — the UDG4-4999 works with any 120V or 240V electric radiant floor heating system, including all LuxHeat cables and mats and most other brands. It handles loads up to 15A (1800W at 120V / 3600W at 240V). If your heating system draws more than 15A, a separate power module (such as the OJ Microline USG-4000) is required alongside the thermostat.
Does the UDG4-4999 need a separate GFCI outlet?
No. The OJ Microline UDG4-4999 has a Class A GFCI circuit built directly into the thermostat, so no additional GFCI outlet or breaker is needed. It is C-UL-us Listed and factory-certified for wet room and bathroom installations as-is.
